Who we are
Times International Trading FZ-LLC is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Our contact details are on the contact page.
Outstanding: our ICO registration number will be published here once registration is confirmed. A UK trading address and company number must also be shown before this site accepts enquiries from UK consumers.
What we collect
- Enquiry details — your name, phone number, email address, the vehicle you asked about, and anything you write in the message field.
- Part exchange details — the registration, mileage and photographs of a vehicle you ask us to value.
- Technical data — pages you visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, but only if you consent to analytics cookies.
We do not collect payment card details through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry | Legitimate interests — you asked us a question |
| Preparing a quotation or valuation | Steps taken at your request before a contract |
| Meeting our legal record-keeping duties | Legal obligation |
| Understanding how the site is used | Consent, given through the cookie banner |
We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing unless you have explicitly asked us to.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary: our email provider, our website host, and — if you are part-exchanging a financed vehicle — your existing lender in order to obtain a settlement figure. Each acts under contract and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a sale are deleted after twelve months. Records relating to a completed sale are kept for six years to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
International transfers
Times International Trading FZ-LLC is established in the United Arab Emirates. Where your data is transferred outside the UK it is protected by an International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent at any time, and ask us to transfer it elsewhere. Write to us using the details on the contact page and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
