Frequently asked questions

Questions worth asking

If yours is not here, ask it. We would rather answer a difficult question before you buy than after.

What warranty comes with your cars?

Every car is supplied with a minimum of twelve months’ warranty cover as standard, and the exact level is stated on each listing. That sits alongside your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are not affected by any warranty we provide.

Do you check the history of every car?

Yes. Every car is provenance checked before it goes on sale — outstanding finance, insurance write-off records, mileage discrepancies and theft markers. We show the number of previous keepers, the service history and the MOT expiry on each listing, and the full check is available on request.

Will you take my car in part exchange?

In most cases, yes. Send us the registration, mileage and a few photographs and we will give you a considered figure rather than an optimistic one designed to get you through the door. If there is outstanding finance we will settle it directly with your lender.

Do you deliver, and what does it cost?

We deliver anywhere in mainland Great Britain. Cost depends on distance and whether the car travels covered or driven, and we quote it before you commit — it is never added at the last step. Collection from us is always free, and you are welcome to inspect the car before you pay the balance.

Can I change my mind after buying online?

If you buy without seeing the car in person, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you fourteen days from delivery to cancel and return it for a refund. We ask that the car comes back in the condition it left us, with no more than reasonable inspection mileage. If you view the car before buying, the regulations do not apply — which is one reason we would rather you saw it first.

Can I view the car or take a test drive?

Yes, by appointment. We would far rather you spent an hour with the car than bought it from photographs. Bring your licence for a test drive, and bring someone who knows cars if it helps — we have no interest in selling you something you regret.
