About us
A short list, honestly described
We hold a short list on purpose
Times International is a small, deliberately selective used car dealer. We hold around 6 cars at a time rather than a hundred, because every one of them has to be a car we would put a member of our own family in. Backed by over a decade in the motor trade, we buy on condition and history first and price second — which is why our list is short and why it turns over quickly.
Prepared before it is priced
Every car is provenance checked for outstanding finance, write-off markers and mileage discrepancies before it goes near the website. It is then serviced if it is due, MOT tested if it is close, and put right where it needs putting right. The preparation happens before the car is listed, not after you have committed to it.
Described as it actually is
We photograph the stone chips and the kerbed alloy alongside the good angles, and we say so in the description. A car that arrives exactly as described does not generate a difficult phone call a week later. That is a commercial decision as much as an ethical one — most of our business comes from people who bought before, or were sent by someone who did.
And if we do not have it
We source to order through the trade. Tell us the model, the specification you want and the budget you are working to, and we will look. If we cannot find one worth buying, we will tell you that too rather than talk you into something adjacent.
